The latest is the Junkers Ju88 (#6186) and it is a neat little kit, with goodlevels of detail and even things like a separateclear canopy and front nose glazing; in all thereare eighteen grey-coloured and three clearplastic parts plus a two-part display stand.The snap-together nature of the kit may putsome off, which is a shame because the partsare nicely moulded, plus you get decals and adisplay stand. Inside you willfind a nice selection of period imagesshowing all aspects of the air fightingaround the globe during 1940, not justthe actual aircraft, but the effects on thecivil population as well. Each month iscovered in turn with good captions andone or two images per page, so theyare nice and big.Although not intended as some ultimateguide, this is a useful title offering alot of inspirational images if you areinto building dioramas etc. Most ofthe title is in black and white, but thecentre 16 pages are full colour.
